Safe Harbor is a nonprofit initiative focused on providing temporary safe placements for dogs whose guardians are navigating short-term crises.

Situations such as military obligations, medical emergencies, housing instability, or domestic violence transitions can sometimes make it impossible for a person to care for their dog for a period of time.

Safe Harbor exists to ensure that temporary hardship never has to mean permanent separation.
